According to the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP), 37% per cent of the developing world’s population – 2.5 billion people – lack improved sanitation facilities, and over 780 million people still use unsafe drinking water sources.
Education: 139 million
67 million children of primary school age and another 72 million children of lower secondary school age were out of school in 2009.

Shelter: One billion
One billion people around the world live in urban slums. That's 32% of the urban global population.
According to a report published by the United Nations, there are 150 million children aged three to 18 years on our streets today—and their numbers are growing fast. 40% of the world's street children are homeless, the other 60% work on the street to support their families.
